My favorite Subject

Maybe because I spend most of my time watching law and order when i was a teenager my favorite subject today is Penal Law. The definition of Penal Law is a join of norms that regulate the punitive power of the state, helping to keep the peace in society establishing general norms of behavior.
Penal Law is about crime and punishment, and It defines what’s a crime, which are they characteristic and It describe the punishment that judge must to apply.
I like this subject because it’s, I guess, justice in action, I feel with others subjects that they’re too far from reality,  I mean all  the Law is attached with reality, but penal law is reality It talks about things that happens all the time, sometimes, horrible things, sometimes, not so much, but all of them make harder life in society.

The second reason is that in penal law they are attached many others subjects like psychology, psychiatry, criminology, even history and anthropology all mixed together in rules. That’s why penal law is so rich,  converges others disciplines on It, that help to create laws and also  It helps the judge to achieve Justice.

  1. You will do a law firm with Pancho! he loves penal law too. I also like penal law because its the "ultima ratio" of the right. It is the most aggressive form of the imposition of power, for that it must be aplied with reasonable judgement and it must not guide by the popular opinion.
